Isaiah 61: 1 - 11

The Year of the Lord’s Favor

 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,
    because the Lord has anointed me
    to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
    to proclaim freedom for the captives
    and release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]
2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor
    and the day of vengeance of our God,
to comfort all who mourn,
3     and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty
    instead of ashes,
the oil of joy
    instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise
    instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
    a planting of the Lord
    for the display of his splendor.

4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
    and restore the places long devastated;
they will renew the ruined cities
    that have been devastated for generations.
5 Strangers will shepherd your flocks;
    foreigners will work your fields and vineyards.
6 And you will be called priests of the Lord,
    you will be named ministers of our God.
You will feed on the wealth of nations,
    and in their riches you will boast.

7 Instead of your shame
    you will receive a double portion,
and instead of disgrace
    you will rejoice in your inheritance.
And so you will inherit a double portion in your land,
    and everlasting joy will be yours.

8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
    I hate robbery and wrongdoing.
In my faithfulness I will reward my people
    and make an everlasting covenant with them.
9 Their descendants will be known among the nations
    and their offspring among the peoples.
All who see them will acknowledge
    that they are a people the Lord has blessed.”

10 I delight greatly in the Lord;
    my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
    and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
    and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the soil makes the sprout come up
    and a garden causes seeds to grow,
so the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness
    and praise spring up before all nations.

The Lord delivers

^{Some may say, but I am not a righteous person. If you are a child of God, you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you are made righteous through Him.}

^{Now that you are okay with this and accepts this, you may also know that the Lord will deliver you from all your troubles. You win again through Christ.}

^{Take note: It says from ALL your troubles. Not some, not one or two, but all. Yay!! Thank you Lord for helping me and delivering me from all my troubles.}

¹⁵The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
    and his ears are attentive to their cry;
¹⁶ but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
    to blot out their name from the earth.

¹⁸ The Lord is close to the brokenhearted

    but the Lord delivers him from them all;

Prayer:

Lord I come to you to seek your face and your forgiveness. I am sorry for that I have done, please forgive me as I forgive those who trespassed against me. I know that your eyes are on me and that I am not righteous on my own, but I am righteous because of Your Son Jesus, who died on the cross and was raised from the dead to overcome sin for me. Now that Jesus is alive I can live too. Thank you Lord Jesus. Bless you!! As a righteous person I now declare and decree that the Lord delivers me from all my troubles. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen!

Easter

Matthew 26:26-28 

²⁶ While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”

²⁷ Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. ²⁸ This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.  

  

This weekend, when we eat the bread and drink the blood, we celebrate the crucifixion of our Lord, Jesus the Christ, the Son of the living God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

There is no other God like Him. He is the only living God, the only forgiving God, the only loving God and the only God who created us in His image. We can win again through Him, because we are his children. In fact we are heirs to His Kingdom.

No matter your circumstances today, He loves you and He wants something better for you and me. This is our chance to make right with Him, to draw closer to Him and to renew our covenant with Him.

Let us not eat and drink unless we stand to forgive those who trespassed against us. He taught us to pray to Him to forgive us, but there is a condition – as we forgive those who trespassed against us. Brothers and sisters in Christ, I urge you to do this now.

If we are forgiving those people then we are doing the will of God and He will heal us, He will restore us, our relationships, our health, our finances and everything else we ask Him for.

Prayer:

Dear heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus and I ask your forgiveness as I forgive ……… who trespassed against me. I pray that You will set ……. free and I set him/her free too. I shall no longer hold anything against that person. Lord I pray that you will restore me, my relationship(s), my health, my finances and my ……. .

The Lord promised to restore to you and me seven fold what the enemy has stolen from us. Hallelujah!!! Thank you Lord!!

If you have prayed this prayer, belief that He has forgiven you and that He will restore what you asked for and it will be done for you.

Now go ahead and take bread, break it and eat it as the body of Christ that was broken for you and me. Take red grape juice and drink it as the blood of Christ that was shed on the cross for forgiveness of your and my sins.

Win Again 2

A psalm of David.

The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. 

He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.

I know God is my shepherd and He is taking care of me. I win again with this knowledge. 

At times it feels like nothing is going for me. It feels like I am not making progress and it feels like things are just not going to turn for the better. However, when I trust in Him and belief that He is My Shepherd then things will be better.

I believe the Word and reading it, and making it personal is key for me to have my prayers answered. Like it says in Jer 29:13, 'You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart'. Faith and trust is very important. 

Today I am asking that you believe and trust with me that God will take good care of you. That you will receive your healing, that job that is eluding you, your relationship, your finances and any other issue you may have be taken care of.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you that you are  loving me and taking care of me today. I believe for full restoration of my health, job, relationship and finances. (You may add your own issues here). In Jesus mighty name. Amen

Win Again 1

Win Again 1:

God gives us promises, but we need to claim them and make them real for ourselves. If we shall call on the Lord He will help us. If the Lord tells us to do something we should do it, because when we do God is faithful to do what He says He will. He is no man that He should lie. In this instance we should lift our eyes to the mountains and ask for help and His promises of not letting our foot slip, Him watching over us, keeping us from all harm and watching over us will be true for us when we belief.

Prayer: Dear heavenly Father, I come boldly before you, asking where does my help come from and I know it comes from you. You are a good, good God and Father. It is my prayer that you will watch over me today and keep me from all harm. In Jesus name. Amen!
